Challenge description

Many communities experience delayed waste collection, illegal dumping and poor communication between residents, collectors and local authorities. This challenge seeks practical solutions that improve reporting, collection coordination, accountability and community participation.

Eligibility rules

Open to individuals and teams based in Ghana. Teams may include students, developers, community leaders, researchers and waste-management professionals.

Required deliverables

A clear solution proposal, implementation plan, estimated budget, expected impact and a simple prototype or visual demonstration where applicable.

Judging criteria

Submissions will be judged on relevance, feasibility, affordability, originality, expected community impact and implementation readiness.
